I am a vintage buyer and set decorator by trade, making props and sets for advertising, film and television. As a visual artist, I take a conceptual approach to the disciplines of painting, sculpture, printmaking and video. My art installations focus on normative masculinity and society's push towards conformity. By deconstructing everyday objects and manipulating them with elements of vernacular visual culture, I ask viewers to re-imagine established social constructions in favour of new interpretations.
