'NEVR-DULL' is a portfolio of twenty-four screenprints available in small and large sizes. 'NEVR-DULL' is linked thematically to Joel's other bodies of work focused on single image phenomena by the philosophical concept of difference and repetition in that the artworks are singular hand-pulled prints, yet all are the same. The series pays tribute to those artists who depicted ordinary, everyday objects in the past, from Jasper Johns to Andy Warhol. The hope is that what might be construed as another banal readymade will be viewed as a mirror for viewers to see for themselves that in every moment no one is ever dull.
